ST. LOUIS Child Evangelism Fellowship® (CEF), the world’s largest evangelical outreach to children, is working harder than ever to share the Good News of Jesus Christ in as many countries as possible in 2025. The immediate aim is to reach more than 35 million children this year. But CEF has an even greater desire.

“With 3,600 staff and hundreds of thousands of volunteers worldwide, we are well on the way to our long-term goal of sharing the Good News of the Gospel with 100 million children,” says CEF Acting Vice President of Administration Fred Pry. “CEF has the strategy and structure in place to do this and already works in nearly every nation.”

Not only does CEF send missionaries, but they primarily work with national staff and volunteers who know their communities and culture best. In 2025, CEF hopes to add another 800 staff to their existing 3,600 staff worldwide, and thousands more volunteers.

CEF key ministries around the world:

Good News Club®

In 2025, the ministry’s goal is to reach 5.9 million children through Good News Club®. Each week an exciting Bible lesson using colorful materials from CEF is presented. This action-packed time also includes songs, Scripture memory, a missions story and review games or other activities focused on the lesson’s theme.

Each club includes a clear presentation of the Gospel and an opportunity for children to trust the Lord Jesus as Savior. Every club also includes strong discipleship training to build character and strengthen moral and spiritual growth.

5-Day Club® (5-day summer clubs)

In 2025, CEF wants to reach at least 1.35 million children through 5-Day Club®. Placed right in a child’s neighborhood, a 5-Day Club® is easy for children to access on their school break. Teachers are trained and equipped to lead action-packed clubs for one solid week, delivering the timeless truths of the Bible in exciting, engaging ways. Many children come to know Jesus as their Savior and learn biblical principles, moral values, character qualities and respect for authority.

5-Day Club® is open to all boys and girls between the ages of five and 12, regardless of religious background. Parents are welcome to attend the club with their children.

Christmas Party Club®

In 2025, CEF aims to reach 17.7 million children with Christmas Party Club®. CEF will train new volunteers and find creative locations to meet with children. Through a Christmas Party Club®, volunteers and churches can work alongside Child Evangelism Fellowship to reach children in communities with the true story of Christmas.

A Christmas Party Club® can open the door to hosting a Good News Club® at the children’s school. Thousands of Good News Clubs have started around the world using this strategy.
