CEF Easter Party Clubs share Jesus’ resurrection with children around the world

April 14th, 2025

‘Children need to be introduced to Resurrection Sunday in a way they can understand how it applies to them,’ says CEF Vice President of Administration Fred Pry

ST. LOUIS — With Easter Sunday approaching on April 20, children in the U.S. and many other countries are hearing the Easter message for the first time, thanks to Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) Easter Party Clubs.

“Children need to be introduced to Resurrection Sunday in a way they can understand how it applies to them,” says CEF Vice President of Administration Fred Pry. “Easter Party Clubs are designed to convey profound truths on a child’s level so they can personalize why Christ died and rose again.

“Children are drawn to straightforward explanations. In Easter Party Clubs, they learn why the resurrection is so important, why it was necessary, and just how much Jesus loves them.”

Teachers trained by CEF deliver the timeless truths of the Bible in exciting, engaging ways throughout the world to help kids connect with Jesus. In addition to Good News Club®, CEF sponsors Party Clubs to present the Gospel to churched and unchurched children.

These one-time events are taught by Good News Club® leaders, Sunday school teachers, children’s ministry workers and other believers who love children and are trained by CEF. Holiday-themed Party Clubs include Christmas, Easter and Valentine’s Day, along with others.

Testimony from a CEF Britain staff member about an Easter Party Club

“We were blessed to see families join us for an interactive “Easter Trail.” Using a special CEF Easter project where children and grown-ups were able to be detectives and follow a Q&A trail of evidence to find out about the first Easter. At the end of the morning, my heart melted when I heard one shy child quietly declare, ‘It wasn’t nails that held Jesus to the cross, it was love.’ Such profound words from one so young. Praise God!”

Testimony from a CEF Liberia staff member about an Easter Party Club

“The Children’s Easter Party Club brought together close to 700 boys and girls, with more than 600 praying to accept Christ. A special band that was marching with the children drew them from all the communities of Buchanan until we had no more space for the children. Thank God for the fruitfulness of the Children’s Easter Party Club. Thanks to all the teachers who prepared and brought the children together.”

Testimony from CEF Slovenia

“As some children do not have access to a live Good News Club®, we prepared an Easter lesson for digital media this year, and many children have watched it. In the story that we published on Facebook and YouTube, we talked about the true meaning of Easter: Jesus came to die for our sins to enable us access to God and eternal life, and on the third day He rose from the dead and is alive today!”

CEF Slovenia is praying for Easter Party Clubs, that the sown seed would produce lasting fruit.
