Child Evangelism Fellowship® is a Bible-centered organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.
Position: Summer Lawn and Grounds Maintenance Worker
Department: Maintenance
Supervisor: Maintenance Manager
Exemption Status: Non-exempt
General Responsibilities:
Work alongside maintenance staff to learn various skills and trades. Work independently performing the job
correctly.
Realizes the importance of the CEF Culture Points and commits to upholding them personally and in the ministry of
CEF (the importance of Godly leadership at every level, of the spiritual welfare of our workers, of prayer as our
foundation, of evangelizing children, of a clear and Biblical presentation of the Gospel and of a commitment to
excellence, for the glory of God).
Specific Expectations:
- Demonstrate aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.
- Capacity to understand detailed instruction.
- Need to be able to recognize when equipment needs service or attention
- Ability to perform all duties as assigned.
- Work with others to complete assigned tasks.
- Maintain a positive attitude that supports the Child evangelism fellowship Mission Statement.
- Accept responsibility for the job description and continually strive to perform work of the highest quality.
Essential Job Functions:
- Must be at least 16 years of age to operate equipment…
- Be responsible for acceptable personal attendance and punctuality
- Dress appropriately to work with/on machinery, be willing able to load and unload vehicles.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to lift 50 Ibs. on a regular basis.
- Ability to work continually standing, walking or bending
- Ability to kneel or squat during the performance of duties
- Ability to push or pull carts or other equipment.
- Ability to cope with work-related noise, also to work in types of weather conditions.
- Ability to cope with dust, fumes and/or odors.
EQUIPMENT USED:
Riding Lawn mower, push lawn mower, hand sprayer, hand sprayer shovel,
weed eater trimmer (hand or motorized), rake, paint, brush or sprayer weed flower beads. And any other tools
necessary to complete the job.
