Position: Literature Development Intern

Department: Creative Services

Supervisor: Director of Creative Services

General Responsibilities:

Involved in the entire editorial process for the development of CEF Press products and other CEF publications. Assists in the development and editing of CEF Press literature and other CEF written materials, including new products, preschool materials, Good News Club, 5-Day Club, Party Club and any special projects as assigned by the Editorial and Creative Services Manager.

Realizes the importance of the CEF Culture Points and commits to upholding them personally and in the ministry of CEF (the importance of Godly leadership at every level, of the spiritual welfare of our workers, of prayer as our foundation, of evangelizing children, of a clear and Biblical presentation of the Gospel and of a commitment to excellence, for the glory of God).

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Meets regularly to plan and schedule curriculum materials and other projects within literature development.
  •  Follows established editorial and organizational policies, practices and procedures.
  •  Helps to ensure accuracy and quality control and that all departmental deadlines are met.
  •  Participates in the writing of Bible lessons and other materials for CEF.
  •  Assists with developing, editing and proofreading other projects where needed.
  •  Helps organize and maintain the filing system for current literature projects and archival materials.
  •  Performs additional duties or special assignments as requested by the Editorial and Creative Services Manager.
