Ministry Description

A ministry coordinator for CEF of Tennessee Inc., Greater Clarksville Chapter performs the planning, execution, and supervision of particular Child Evangelism Fellowship® ministries, such as after-school Good News Club® or 5-Day Club®. The ministry coordinator should be able to plan and analyze, demonstrate organizational skills, and motivate people.

General Responsibilities

Ministry Coordinator takes lead on coordinating summer ministry including finding and scheduling locations for 5-Day Clubs, recruiting church partners, securing and vetting volunteer drivers and chaperones, scheduling teaching teams, drivers/chaperones and filling in as needed.
Works closely with staff to create and implement advertising campaigns year-round to raise awareness of CEF chapter wide, including social media research and consistent postings; researching and regular posting to media venues that offer free advertising throughout the chapter.
Other duties as needed to support the overall mission of this chapter.

Qualifications

Ministry Coordinator must be a person of prayer who depends on the Holy Spirit to guide.
Must demonstrate a balanced approach to Christian living in a daily walk with God, family and a local Christian church.
Must be a self-starter, possess a good attitude, be a team player but able to work without supervision and serve in every area with excellence.
Must be proficient with various forms of technology, having a good working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, etc.); easily navigate the internet to research and email; and have a good working knowledge of social media platforms.
Must be a people person able to easily network with others.
