Prayer for International Conference
We encourage you to lift up our ministry in prayer throughout the year
Over the next 40 days, we invite you to pray intentionally for Child Evangelism Fellowship ministry, our workers, and specific conference-related needs. We are especially praying for God’s guidance and provision as we seek to reach 100 million children annually by 2032. Imagine a worldwide army of prayer warriors calling out to God for these needs every hour of every day. Imagine how God could answer our prayers for His glory!
Weekly Prayer Guide
We challenge you to fast for one meal during the 40 Days of Prayer. Spend this time in prayer for International Conference.
Week 1 — April 14-20
Pray for the Staff Needs
- Attendees’ hearts to be receptive to God’s Word.
2. International Headquarters Staff as they plan and prepare to serve at the conference.
3. Those needing visa approvals to travel to the conference to get appointments and receive favorable responses.
4. Funding needed for worldwide CEF staff and missionaries to attend the conference.
5. Travel safety for the CEF family.
6. The 140 guests planning to visit CEF International Headquarters prior to the conference.
7. Conference leadership to have God’s wisdom in planning, preparation, and problem-solving.
Week 2 — April 21-27
Pray for Conference Needs
1. Bible teachers Trent Casto and Crawford Loritts to have safe travels, Spirit-led preparation, and powerful teaching.
2. Our worship leaders Niah and Allisha Merrill, and musicians Philips, Craig, and Dean as they minister to the CEF family.
3. The Three-Day National Director Forum, that leaders will find encouragement and powerful tools for dynamic ministry.
4. The mini-gathering for some of our supporting partners during the conference.
5. Workshop presenters, that their presentations would be effective.
6. Attendees to be blessed with fellowship, spiritual encouragement, and physical refreshment.
7. The purpose of the offering to be communicated clearly during the conference to reach 100 percent of the goal.
Week 3 — April 28-May 4
Pray for Children’s Needs
1. God to inspire and motivate attendees to reach more children for His glory.
2. Children to respond to the Gospel message and grow in their daily walk with God.
3. Children in anti-Christian countries to have opportunities to hear the truth about Jesus.
4. God to restrain the world, evil people, and the devil so children’s hearts can receive the seeds of truth.
5. God to hinder worldly educational systems that teach false theories, gender confusion, and lies to children.
6. Parents and churches to invest and engage in training to reach children effectively.
7. Christian children to be trained in Children Reaching Children and have courage to reach the lost.
Week 4 — May 5-11
Pray for Ministry Highways
1. The presentation of the strategy of the five key CEF ministries (“highways”), including Christmas Party Club, Good News Club, Junior Youth Challenge, Christian Youth In Action with 5-Day Club, and Children Reaching Children.
2. More training seminars, volunteers, and locations to hold Christmas Party Clubs for lost children.
3. The volunteers and funding to launch more Good News Clubs.
4. CYIA students to teach additional 5-DAy Clubs in new locations using church partnerships.
5. Older children from the GNC ministry to desire more opportunities to grow and serve through Children Reaching Children, JYC, and CYIA.
6. Our digital ministry to expand in each region to impact unreached children and help disciple saved children.
7. Literature to be produced and distributed for local workers to share the Gospel in their own language.
Week 5 — May 12-May 18
Pray for the Conference Experience
1. The workshops to inspire and equip attendees to passionately use the ministry highways to reach 100 million children annually.
2. Ministry vendors to make meaningful connections with attendees as they visit booths.
3. CEF partnerships with developing countries, that they would build relationships and strategies to mutually benefit the ministry.
4. The children and teen tracks to be fun, and to challenge participants to grow spiritually and obey God’s calling to ministry.
5. Attendees to understand how God is reaching children around the world, and that God would renew their passion for reaching children in their own area.
6. Safety on and around the conference grounds.
7. Ridgecrest Conference staff to be blessed and for the facilities and equipment to meet conference needs.
Week 6 — May 19-23
Pray for Ministry Vision
1. Jeremiah Cho as he passionately casts the vision for CEF ministry for the coming years.
2. CEF ministries to reach 35 million children in 2025 and 57 million children in 2028.
3. The CEF family to embrace the vision of using the ministry highways to reach 100 million children by 2032.
4. Workers to have needed resources to train new staff and volunteers for new locations. The CEF family will be challenged to expand their vision to reach more children.
5. Attending staff to effectively cast the vision in their home areas to staff, boards, committees, and volunteers.
