We read in the Bible in the book of Joshua that the children of Israel often set up monuments to cause them to remember God’s power, provision, and pardon. Joshua 4:24 tells us that the purpose of the monuments is to ensure that “all the people of the earth know the Lord is mighty.” In CEF® we don’t erect literal monuments of stone, but we do want to make sure we celebrate and remember God’s power as it is demonstrated in this ministry each day.
